Abstract
INDONESIA:
Self Regulation merupakan upaya setiap individu dalam mengatur diri dalam suatu aktifitas dengan mengikutsertakan metakognisi, motivasi, dan perilaku aktif, khususnya bagi siswa full day school yang bergelut dalam suasana aktifitas belajar. Dalam proses ini, terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan sebagai pendorong dari proses self regulation, yakni motivasi yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa sendiri dan kualitas hubungannya dengan orang tuanya.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh motivasi intrinsik terhadap self regulation siswa full day school, 2) pengaruh kualitas hubungan dengan orang tua terhadap self regulation siswa full day school , dan 3) pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan kualitas hubungan dengan orang tua terhadap self regulation siswa full day school.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa MTs Surya Buana Kota Malang dengan sampel sebanyak 116 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh terhadap self regulation siswa full day school dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.009 (0.009 < 0.05), (2) kualitas hubungan dengan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap self regulation siswa full day school dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.043 (0.043 < 0.05), (3) motivasi intrinsik dan kualitas hubungan dengan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap self regulation siswa full day school dengan hasil sebesar 11.6 % .
ENGLISH:
Self Regulation is an effort of every individual in setting one self to an activity by including metacognition, motivation, and active behavior, particularly for full day school students who are struggling in atmosphere of learning activity. In process this, there are some things to be noticed as drivers for self regulation processes, namely, motivation which comes from inside and quality of relationship with parents.
The aims from this research were to determine: 1) the influence of intrinsic motivation to self regulation of full day school students, 2) the effect of quality of relationship with parents to self regulation of full day school students, and 3) the effect of intrinsic motivation and quality of relationship with parents to self regulation of full day school students.
This research used descriptive quantitative method. Subject of this research was students of MTs Surya Buana Malang with sample as many as 116 students. The results of research showed that: (1) intrinsic motivation had some effects to self regulation of full day school students with significance value amounted to 0.009 (0.009 <0.05), (2) quality of relationship with parents had some effects to self regulation of full day school students with significance value amounted to 0.043 (0.043 <0.05), (3) intrinsic motivation and quality of relationship with parents had some effects to self regulation of full day school students with the result of 11.6%.
