Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kepemimpinan adalah kekuatan untuk menggerakkan dan memengaruhi orang guna mencapai tujuan. Al-Qur’an surat al-Fatihah memuat nilai-nilai untuk menggerakkan orang, sebagaimana yang diimplementasikan oleh Drs. H. Suyoto, M.Si, bupati Bojonegoro. Sebagai pemimpin, dia telah memberikan motivasi pada guru untuk memimpin dirinya sendiri dalam mengembangkan karakter yang diberi nama jalan sukses al-Fatihah (JSA).
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan implementasi kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai al-Fatihah dalam mengembangkan karakter guru MAN Model dan MAN 2 Bojonegoro, dengan fokus penelitian: (1) Konsepsi kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai al-Fatihah, (2) Perwujudan karakter guru, (3) Implementasi kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai al-Fatihah dalam mengembangkan karakter guru. Penelitian ini pada guru MAN Model dan MAN 2 Bojonegoro, karena training JSA pertama kali diberikan pada guru MAN Model dan MAN 2 dalam satu ruangan di aula MAN Model sebagai pusat Caracter Building Center (CBC).
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data hermeneutik yaitu memberikan interpretasi sesuai konteks yang sedang berlangsung, diawali dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, interpretasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan cara perpanjangan keikutsertaan peneliti, teknik triangulasi dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber, teori, dan metode serta ketekunan pengamatan. Informan penelitian yaitu bupati Bojonegoro, direktur jalan sukses al-Fatihah, kepala MAN Model dan MAN 2 Bojonegoro serta beberapa guru yang telah mengikuti motivasi jalan sukses al-Fatihah.
Hasil penelitian ini menyumbangkan teori kepemimpinan, strategi manajemen diri islami yang terdiri dari strategi kognitif dan strategi karakter.
(1) Konsepsi kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai al-Fatihah sebagai strategi kognitif mengandung tujuh prinsip: (a) Niat, (b) Menerima diri apa adanya, (c) Kasih sayang, (d) Membayangkan hari pembalasan, (e) Yakin pertolongan Allah, (f) Islam sebagai petunjuk, dan (g) Belajar dari pengalaman. (2) Karakter yang muncul pada guru setelah adanya spirit baru konsepsi kepemimpinan berbasis al- Fatihah atau sebagai strategi karakter meliputi: (a) Ikhlas, (b) Syukur dan sabar, (c) Memberi, (d) Cita-cita, (e) Rendah hati, (f) Disiplin, dan (g) Pembelajar. (3) Implementasi strategi manajemen diri islami meliputi: penyadaran diri, penjernihan hati, membangun komitmen spiritual (niat), dan pembiasaan.
ABSTRACT
Leadership is a power to stir and influence people to gain goals. Surrah Al- Fatihah in Qur’an contains values to motivate people as implemented by Drs. H. Suyoto, M.Si, Bojonegoro regent. As a leader, he has given motivation for teachers to lead themselves in developing characters called al-Fatihah successful ways (JSA).
This reasearch aims to reveal the implementation of al-Fatihah values based leadership in developing teachers’ characters in MAN Model and MAN 2 Bojonegoro. It focuses on: (1) The concept of al-Fatihah values based leadership, (2) The manifestation of teachers’ characters, (3) the implementation of al-Fatihah values based leadership in developing teachers’ characters. This research is conducted on the teachers in MAN Model and MAN 2 Bojonegoro since the first JSA training was given to them which took place in MAN Model hall as the Character Building Center (CBC).
This research employs qualitative approach using phenomenology as the research type. The data collection was carried out through participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentation technique. The hermeneutic data analysis technique gives an intepretation that suits the ongoing context, started with data reduction, data presentation, interpretation and conclusion. The findings validity checking was conducted through the extension of research participation, triangulation technique by using various sources, theories, methods and perseverance observation. The informants are Bojonegoro regent, the director of al-Fatihah succesful way, the head of MAN Model and MAN 2 Bojonegoro, and some teachers who have joined al-Fatihah succesful way motivation.
This research findings relate to leadership theory and Islamic self- management strategy which consists of cognitive strategy and character developing strategy.
(1) The concept of al-Fatihah values based leadership as a cognitive strategy contains seven principles: (a) Intention, (b) Self-accepatance, (c) Affection, (d) The remembrance of the day of vengeance, (e) Faith in God’s help, (f) Islam as the guidance, and (g) Experience-based learning. (2) The characters appeared in the teachers following the new spirit of al-Fatihah values-based leadership conception or as a character developing strategy include: (a) Sincerity, (b) Gratitude and Patience, (c) Giving, (d) Goals, (e) Humility, (f) Discipline, and (g) Learner. (3) The implementation of islamic self-management strategies covers self-awareness, heart purification, spiritual commitment (intention) building and habitual activity.
