Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang menjadi sub kultur masyarakat telah lahir dan berkembang seiring dengan perubahan dan kemajuan masyarakat global. Adanya pemikiran dan upaya-upaya pengembangan pondok pesantren dengan merespon modernisasi pendidikan Islam merupakan langkah untuk menjaga peran kelembagaan pondok pesantren dalam dinamika keilmuan Islam dengan tuntutan serta perubahan masyarakat yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan: 1) konsep pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan pondok pesantren. 2) Fungsi manajemen pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan pondok pesantren. 3) Dampak pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan pondok pesantren.
Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif, pendekatan kualitatif, jenis studi kasus dengan rancangan studi mutisitus (multisituse-case study). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), observasi partisipatif (participation observation) dan studi dokumentasi (documentation). Analisis data meliputi: analisis situs tunggal dan analisis lintas situs dengan teknik pengumpulan data/ reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui kredebilitas, transferabilitas, dependebilitas, dan konfirmabilitas.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Konsep pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan pondok pesantren; a. mempertahankan pola akuistik (paham kesufian) diintegrasi dengan modernisasi pendidikan Islam. b. memegang teguh prinsip kaidah almuhafadzatu 'ala qadim as shalih wa akhdzu bi al jadidi aslah. c. berpendekatan tuntutan kebutuhan masyarakat (social demand approch). d. berorientasi/ bertujuan integrasi kelembagaan, kebutuhan profesi lulusan, penguatan nilai tradisi/ pendidikan era modern. 2) Fungsi manajemen pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan; a. perencanaan dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan dan mengakomodasi masukan-masukan stakeholder. b. pengorganisasian atau pendistribusian dimandatkan pada leader di masing-masing unit. c. pelaksanaan dijalankan dengan cara mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pesantren dengan akademik, pendidikan formal, dan lingkungan sosial budaya/ cultur. e. evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan cara terus menerus dan berkala. 3) Dampak pengembangan dalam rangka kebertahanan kelembagaan; a. Survive pesantren disebabkan nilai-nilai pesantren yang dipertahankan dan dikolaborasikan dengan pendidikan model baru yang muncul di pesantren. b. Keberlanjutan pesantren disebabkan terpuaskan para pelanggan/ wali santri sebagaimana harapan mereka untuk menitipkan anak-anaknya ke pesantren.
Berdasarkan temuan subtantib di atas, maka temuan formal dalam penelitian ini adalah: Pengembangan Kebertahanan Kelembagaan Berbasis Akuistik dan Modernisasi Pendidikan Islam.
ABSTRACT
This Diserrtation intended reinforcing institutional and sustainability towards the development of science, technology and social communities in boarding school. Boarding school (Pondok Pesantren) is institute of Islamic education as a sub social culture; it is growled and thrived with social global change. Development efforts of boarding school to responds modernize Islamic education; the role of the Islamic boarding school is to maintain the dynamics of Islamic science demands and changes in society that continues to grow. These are done by boarding school in Roudlotut Tholibin Mojosari Loceret and Miftahul Mubtadiin Krempyang Tanjunganom Nganjuk which are able to respond to changes to maintain their existence. The research focus analyzed and found: 1) Concept Development ofviability Islamic Boarding School development, 2) The functional of management viability of Islamic Boarding School development, 3) Impact of viability of Islamic Boarding School development.
The method used in viability institutional development of boarding school in moderniza education is qualitative research with interpretiv paradigm to get the facts that exist in the field. This study is used multi-site study design, using the technique of collecting the deep interview, participative observation and study documentation. Multi- site analysis and analysis of site traffic that are used in data analysis techniques. To check the validity of the data is done by credibility, transferability and conformability.
Results of research about viability of institutional development of Islamic boarding school in moderniza education are includes: 1) Concept ofviability of Institutional development includes: a) maintain the pattern of akuistik (understood kesufian) integrated with the modernization of Islamic education b) hold the principle of rule almuhafadzatu 'ala qadim as shalih wa akhdzu bi al jadidi aslah, c) social demand approach, d) the purpose of institutional, the need of profession graduate, the strengthen of tradition value/ the education of modern era. 2) The functional of management viability of Institutional development, includes: a) planning is conducted with involve the stakeholder, b) organizing is given to the person who has qualification and competence, c) Implementation is done by integrate the values of boarding school with academic; integrate Islamic boarding school institutional with formal education, and integrate Islamic boarding school with culture, d) evaluation is conducted in continue and periodic. 3) Impact of viability Institutional development includes: a) the viability of Islamic boarding school is caused by the values of Islamic boarding school itself, b) the viability of Islamic boarding school sustainability because the customers/ parents are satisfied with the result of the graduate/ they can get their prospects to entrust their children in boarding school.
